Coming from an International Group of Companies that specializes in Diving, Aquacenter Diving is now operating in Costa Rica and registered as a PADI Resort Facility. Located in the Capital City of San Jose, this full servicing dive shop offers a complete line of scuba certification programs from Open Water to Divemaster, sales and rental of diving equipment and scheduled tours to some of Costa Rica’s amazing dive spot.

aquafront While the main shop is located in the Capital City, their scuba center is situated in Guanacaste which is close to the beach just next to Flamingo Marina. With daily dive schedule during peak season, you will see their boats parked at the beach while waiting for guest to arrive.

bote02 They have two boats, one is a 37-footer named Fun Fisher II and another 40-footer named Aqualand. Both of these boats are fully equipped with freshwater for rinsing after the dive, radio communication, oxygen and emergency equipment. On a regular day, these boats are scheduled for a morning and afternoon trips where guest will take a 20-minute boat ride and go diving in the island of Catalina.

Dive Trips and Packages

Dive and Adventure Package

Price: $525 (Package A), $655 (Package B) and $785 (Package C)

This package doesn’t just involve diving tours but also include accommodation (double occupancy) with breakfast, Canopy and Rafting Tours. Package A includes 5 nights of stay with 1 day of diving while Package B covers 6 nights and 2 days of diving. Package C gives you a week-long of stay with 3 days of diving at Catalina Island.

Captain Suite Dive Package
Price: $429 (Package A), $619 (Package B), $799 (Package C), $975 (Package D)

On top of your Captain Suite accommodation, dive equipment and unlimited use of kayak, Package A includes 3 nights of stay and 2 days of diving, Package B with 4 nights stay and 3 days of diving, Package C with 5 nights of stay and 4 days of diving while Package C with 6 nights of stay and 5 days of diving. All packages include your own dive boat and a dive guide while exploring the different dive sites of Catalina island with refreshments during your surface interval.

Local Dive in Flamingo and Playa Conchal

Price: $235 (Package A), $325 (Package B), $415 (Package C), $495 (Package D), $565 (Package E)
images While all the packages includes your own dive boat, diving equipment and an unlimited use of kayak, Package A gets you to go diving for 2 days, Package B for 3 days, Package C for 4 days, Package D for 5 days and Package E for 6 days.

Local Dive in Tamarindo

Price: $195 (Package A), $290 (Package B), $385 (Package C), $480 (Package D), $570 (Package E)

Package A in this offer gets you to go diving for 2 days, Package B for 3 days, Package C for 4 days, Package D for 5 days and Package E for 6 days. These packages also includes a dive boat that will take you to go diving in Catalina Island, diving equipment, unlimited use of kayaks and a complimentary T-shirt.

Scuba Certification

Aside from being a PADI Facility, Aquacenter Diving also offers certification courses that are sanctioned by SSI and NAUI.

Open Water Scuba Diver Certification

Price: $650 (In-house Package)
diving04a This package involves classroom lecture, 5 swimming pool session, 4 open water dives and certification card upon completion of the course. On top of this, you get a free accommodation for 5 days with double occupancy and complimentary breakfast.

Scuba Diver Certification Package

Price: $455

This 3-day course includes 3 swimming pool session and 2 open water dives. You will get a certification card upon completion of the course that permits you to go diving up to 40 feet. Included in this package is a 4-night accommodation with double occupancy and complimentary breakfast.
