The 14,300 acres of protected water reserve is blessed with profusion of marine life and underwater biodiversity.\u00a0 The volcanic rocks are spectacular! Tropical Reef Fish, species of corals and schools of hundreds of migrating breeds are expected to be spotted in these translucent clear waters. White tip reed sharks, Tuna Ridley, Hawksbill turtles and many more species reside here in abundance! The temperature under water depends on the season and time of the day, generally ranges from 20-30 degrees. The visibility under water is mesmerizing, as much as 40-90 feet depending on the time of the day and year.<br \/>\nThese characteristics make the ocean perfect for Scuba diving to discover the secrets of under water life. La Paloma Lodge offers PADI certified and experienced instructors to help beginners dive in the gigantic ocean. Fanatics can also learn lessons and levels of Scuba Diving. Advance divers can set an independent thrilling journey inside the ocean and when their desired time underwater is up; the boat shall bring them back.<br \/>\nAs far as safety is concerned, there are 10 experienced divers at the corners, watching out possessively.<\/p>\n<p>Other water sports include Dolphin and whale watching, snorkeling, white water rafting, surfing, sport fishing, etc.<br \/>\nOut of the ocean activities are offered too- Bird watching at sunrise, Massaging after hectic trips, Horse back rides into the tropical forests, the bug Lady\u2019s night, Hiking, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accommodation<br \/>\n<\/strong>The lodge offers three amazing options, each with its own benefits and comfort.<br \/>\nRooms:<br \/>\nThese are the standard rooms that have extended balconies opening up towards the Pacific Ocean, awakening each of the senses with its beauty.<br \/>\nRanchos:<br \/>\nThe 1 and 2 story private cabins are king sized that can spaciously comfort 5 people. Graced with winds from the west, the ranchos are secluded in the forests yet strategically placed to lead the view to the ocean!<br \/>\nSunset Ranchos:<br \/>\nThe magnificent rooms are artistically designed and furnished with king, queen and single beds, ideal for a huge family.
