Location

Located in Central America on the Osa Peninsula in southwestern Costa Rica, Casa Corcovado is the closest to the National park. It resides on the Pacific lowland rainforest which is exclusive and endangered. It is beautifully made of thirteen ecosystems residing in harmony with over a thousand species of trees, hundred breeds of birds and ample of forest insects.

The resort is the result of sincere American Naturalists who have had thirty years of experience in the local nature. Every corner of the resort is well groomed with utmost concern to its natural habitats and the environment.
There are no roads or automobiles that can lead to the Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge. To get here the guests must travel down a river and follow the Pacific coast, until the beaches lead to the Resort. The boat ride takes about an hour and a half winding and rowing through the wetlands and mangroves, the adventure begins before you step in.

Spanish Colonial styled bungalows are designed for privacy and comfort. Every bungalow is placed to grab the most of the landscape and rainforest experience.

Facilities and activities

San Josecito Tour – The beach is for a spectacular beach swimming experience. Tourists often come here for a half day picnic, snorkeling, a walk in the jungle followed by a swim in the ocean.

Horse Riding – The horses lead the guests into the rainforests through ample of exotic trees to a waterfall, cross through streams and return after a classic Costa Rican Meal.

Early Bird Tour – Wake up with the morning breeze and more than 350 species of exclusive birds from the Corcovado province. A tour that takes the guests closest to some of the most rare and unusual species residing on the planet.

Scuba Diving

The Cano Islands are well protected for its biological reserve by the government. This possessive guarding has led to spectacular marine life in the Pacific Ocean. A vast array of aquatic breeds reside in the chaste waters most of them visible from the surface. Most of the species are coral eaters and yet the underwater land is rich in coral life. The underwater life is a dream come true for every aquatic photographer. Schools of fish of varied species are close enough to touch, feed and capture. Food

The dining room is built amidst the jungle to offer a nothing-like-ever-before experience. The food is cooked with the classic Casa Corcovado style using special garnishing originating from the land. Each meal is cook with the most fresh vegetables, seafood, tenderloin, chicken that are all brought from the neighboring habitat. Every meal will be treasured as an exotic memory!

Accommodation

There are three options- The junior Suite, Honeymoon Suite and Deluxe bungalows.

The Junior Suite is closer to the rainforests that lets you sweep in the best of nature by lying down on a hammock. The interconnecting facility makes the junior suites ideal for family stay.

Honeymoon suites are nestled among the tropical beauty ensuring utmost privacy and unpretentious luxury.

The deluxe bungalows are large with three to four beddings, made exclusively for friends or family. Every bungalow has a private garden expanding the nature’s beauty to welcome the exotic birds closer than ever before.
